@matt I think it is actually easier to find the $.99 cheeseburgers in the city. Your the first person in the county that has told me they have seen them. All of Mike #2's friends are obsessed with the $.99 deal so we seem to talk about it alot. They thought there was no place in St Louis (city or county) that still had the deal. They did not believe me when I told them the place by my work did.

Just rolled by the McDonald's by my work and it had the $.99 double cheeseburger. To make a short story long... I considered getting two and calling it a lunch, but I ran into Teej at Target and we headed to Quiznos instead. Their meatball sub sucked. But, the slammies, err... sammies, looked delicious. TJ mentioned that it was the sauce not the contents that were good.

I think the problem is that you live in the city. I drive past 3-4 Taco Bells and McDonalds on the way home from work. They always seem to be priced the same. I do not think you have enough competition in the city to keep prices in check. You need to start driving out to Weldon for lunch. The fast food tastes better in the county anyways.
