Marketing Genious
I read this article and thought this guy is a genious. He says he is giving away AK-47s but really he is only giving away credit to a gun shop that is enough to buy an AK-47 or anything else they want. This is good for two reasons. The biggest because it is generating a ton of free press. Secondly, its a city in the middle of nowhere selling trucks. I don’t think I am going out on a limb (since I did live in Hillsboro for over 18 years) but I imagine people that buy trucks also like guns.

Yeah, in Butler, MO there is quite a need for a weapon designed for mass infantry that shoots 600 rounds/minute. . . Sure, events requiring this gun happen all the time.

@The Warngler – I think you are missing the point. The use of the word AK-47 is used to get the readers attention for the same reason you made that crazy comment. It is not like they will get a AK-47 and is meant to just “get your foot in the door.”
